Seeds of Purpose Campaign
Planting Seeds of Independence. Cultivating a Future of Possibility.
At Katie's Place, we believe every woman deserves the opportunity to discover her strengths, pursue her ambitions, and build a future of her own choosing.
The Seeds of Purpose Campaign is dedicated to creating opportunities for female survivors of sex trafficking to develop practical skills, explore their interests, continue their education, and work toward personal and financial independence. Our goal is not to decide what a survivor's future should look like. It is to provide the tools, resources, and encouragement that allow her to decide for herself.
Our Campaign Goals
Education & Career Development
Provide access to educational resources, vocational training, career exploration, and opportunities to pursue certifications or further education.
Life Skills & Independence
Develop hands-on learning opportunities in financial literacy, budgeting, cooking, gardening, household management, and other practical skills that support independent living.
The Healing Garden & Farm
Establish gardens and agricultural activities where residents can learn to grow food, care for plants, and experience the satisfaction of nurturing something from seed to harvest.
Creativity & Entrepreneurship
Create opportunities for survivors to explore artistic interests, develop creative skills, and pursue entrepreneurial ideas through workshops, mentorship, and practical experience.
Community Partnerships
Build relationships with educators, local businesses, vocational programs, and community organizations willing to offer training, mentorship, and resources.
What Your Donations Will Help Build
Contributions to the Seeds of Purpose Campaign will support the development of educational materials, gardening supplies, vocational resources, workshop equipment, and partnerships that bring these opportunities to life.
Our Vision
A seed does not become a flower overnight. It requires the right environment, nourishment, patience, and room to grow.
We believe people deserve those same opportunities. Help us plant the seeds of purpose and cultivate a future filled with possibility.
A Brighter Tomorrow Lives Here.
